you got it.
well the alley gives an aura of a shortcut you would only take if you were missing out on the next CoD update(nerdjoke:P). shading is very accurate but i do have an issue with a doorway on the second level of the house.( just looks flat doesn't follow regular lines of building)
but the SKY. that blue hue really evens out your work nicely while bursting through with energy.
thanks dude thts quite helpful :D
lol and nice CoD joke tht made me laugh....only cus its true lol XD
YAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!
go all the children. we missed you terribly shadman :')
we always love your stylization :P
i dont think mature is the right rating.
but it does get your material seen alot more, this looks like a large canvas. the small glow around the figure gives it almost an aura of hopelessness. as though life is fleeing it. good work good concept
all your faces.
look very masculine. VERY. idk if that is your style though :\
not all of them? jjust most of them hehe lol
potential
was this based off reality? are these your friends? if so then my opinion is worth nearly nothing. i just noticed that the dark haired girl has little curve in her back. you could accentuate her body by pulling the lower back curve out further. it creates a more female figure and bum :P
Well, it's actually a bunch of practice/concept pictures taken from various points of a story line which I intend to incorporate into a webcomic series. The vast majority of the characters and events that take place in the story line are based on real people I either know or have known in my past as well as the events. The characters themselves are fictional, but are based on real people.
I am still practicing my proportions and all. I appreciate your tip. If you're referring to the girl on the right, I think that could have helped. However, I wanted to illustrate in this picture just how freakishly tall and skinny she is and in doing so, makes her lack an ideal feminine figure. If you're referring to Layla, the girl in the middle, she could have definitely used a more feminine figure with the curve and better hips. I think I made her too skinny. Thanks for your feedback. Feel free to put your two cents on any of my other pictures.
a gift?
your grandfather would be happy to have such a skilled artist. but the proportion of head to body doesn't fit. :\ good choice on charcoal as your medium.
more coming soon!
